Needles to Grand Canyon

Made it to the Grand Canyon by lunch time and hiked for 2.3km down into the canyon. Wow wow wow. It really is amazing and HUGE! Even though we walked for quite a way down there was still much more to go. The walk all the way to the bottom was 10.1 km one way. Fun on the way down - very tough on the way up!

 

Mexican for dinner and an early night. The fresh air and walking has worn us all out.
