Lifestyles of the rich and the famous ... We took a tour of Hollywood and the Beverly Hills in an open top bus this morning. The driver pointed out many houses of stars and celebrities, past and present. All the houses are amazing. And the gardens! well they clearly have no water restrictions here. A drive along Rodeo Drive to try and spot a celebrity and then back to explore the streets of Hollywood.
A visit to the Chinese theatre where all the famous hand prints are. These are pretty cool as they include some old favorites, like Fred Astaire, to current favorites, like Johnny Depp. And who is this handsome star Chris Walker??
After lunch we went hiking. Yes in the middle of LA is Runyon canyon where many trendy people (like us) go to walk/run/do yoga. It was a very steep walk up a hot and dusty track but we were rewarded with a great view of the valley from the top.
Wandered through the Kodak/Dolby theatre where the academy awards are held. In this building there is the worlds biggest "candy" store. Wow. You can make your own chocolate bar and choose the fillings. Yum and fun.
So that is the end of the LA part of our trip. Despite our amazing talents we were not discovered so we journey on...
